Draft for owner review. Operator, contact details, age eligibility, applicable law, and effective date must be confirmed before publication.

Terms and Conditions

Prepared: 16 September 2026 · Effective date: [CONFIRM BEFORE PUBLICATION]

These terms govern your use of Nuzzbit, the Android news app with package name nuzzbit.boringgapps, provided by Pratyush Texports (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Please read these terms and our Privacy Policy before using the app. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived.

1. The service

Nuzzbit provides news headlines, short and detailed summaries, links to source reports, bookmarks, topic and edition preferences, and optional text-to-speech narration. Content availability depends on the published feed, your preferences, network access, and third-party services. The current version does not require a user account or include in-app billing.

2. Eligibility

You must have the legal capacity to agree to these terms. If applicable law requires a parent or guardian’s permission, obtain that permission before using the service. General news may contain mature or distressing subjects. [OWNER MUST CONFIRM THE APP’S MINIMUM AGE, INTENDED AUDIENCE, AND ANY REGION-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS BEFORE PUBLICATION.]

3. Permission to use Nuzzbit

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the app for your own lawful reading and personal use. The app and its branding remain owned by their respective rights holders. Rights not expressly granted are reserved, subject to applicable law.

You must not use the app to gain unauthorized access to systems or data, bypass access controls, distribute malware, interfere with service availability, impersonate others, or infringe another person’s rights. Automated use that materially disrupts the service is prohibited. These terms do not restrict activities that applicable law expressly permits despite contractual restrictions.

4. News content and corrections

News changes quickly. Summaries may omit context, contain errors, or become outdated. Publication dates, attributions, and images depend on the underlying source information. Consult the linked original report and other reliable sources before relying on a story. We do not promise that every report is complete, current, or independently verified.

News and narration are for general information and are not personalized legal, medical, investment, or other professional advice. Narration can mispronounce names or read content incorrectly. Contact us to report a factual error, incorrect attribution, broken source link, or other content concern, including the story title and URL where possible.

5. Publisher rights and sharing

Third-party articles, images, trademarks, and other material belong to their respective owners. Attribution and a source link do not transfer copyright or grant additional reuse rights. Use the Share feature and any copied material only as permitted by applicable law and the relevant rights holder. Do not use Nuzzbit to redistribute protected content without appropriate permission.

If you believe content available through Nuzzbit infringes your rights, contact us with your contact information, identification of the work and disputed material, its location or story identifier, and an explanation of your rights and concern. We will assess reports under applicable law. [OWNER MUST CONFIRM THE RIGHTS-REQUEST CONTACT AND PROCESS.]

6. External services

Original reports, image hosts, your speech engine, and apps selected through Android sharing are operated independently. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply. We do not control their content, availability, charges, or data handling. A link or attribution does not imply endorsement. Your carrier or internet provider may charge for data use.

7. Bookmarks and device data

Bookmarks, preferences, and cached news are stored on your device. They may be lost if you clear app data, uninstall, change devices, or if storage or backups fail. Android may back up or restore data according to your device settings. We do not provide a Nuzzbit account-based synchronization or guaranteed backup service in this version.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, usage events, network requests, speech services, notifications, backups, and privacy choices. Agreement to these terms does not replace any separate consent required by applicable law.

9. Availability, changes, and ending use

We may update, modify, or discontinue features, subject to applicable law and any obligations we owe you. Content may be removed or corrected. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security threats, or material breaches of these terms. You can stop using Nuzzbit at any time and uninstall it. Where required by law, we will provide notice of material service or terms changes. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights.

10. Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or error-free content. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by independent third-party services or events outside our reasonable control, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot lawfully be limited, or any other liability or consumer remedy that cannot be excluded. Any remaining limitations must be interpreted narrowly and only to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you.

11. Applicable law and disputes

[OWNER MUST CONFIRM THE OPERATOR’S LOCATION AND APPROPRIATE GOVERNING LAW BEFORE PUBLICATION.] Any chosen governing law or forum must preserve mandatory consumer protections and any right to bring a claim in a court available to you under applicable law. Please contact us first if you wish to resolve a concern informally; doing so does not prevent you from using statutory complaint procedures or legal remedies. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
